We’re almost halfway through the season and it’s time to award another young man with the Wilson County Player of the Week award. This week, Seth Price from Watertown High School takes it home.
This is Seth’s second week being recognized as Player of the Week. This past week, Price led his team back from an early 14-0 deficit and was responsible for 4 touchdown passes, with his long being a 72-yard bomb. Price also ran for a 16-yard touchdown. The Purple Tigers wound up defeating 4-2A rival, Jackson County, 44-14. Watertown is now 5-0 on the season for the first time in over a decade, and they’re winning by an average of 35 points.
With Seth Price in the cockpit and a very talented supporting cast surrounding him, Watertown looks like they can be the frontrunners in 4-2A, only threatened by Forrest High School, who is also 5-0. Watertown hosts Eagleville this Friday and looks to continue their domination.
