Blake Meadors from Wilson Central High School is the recipient of the Wilson County Player of the Week for week 3 of the season.
Meadors, a senior quarterback, led his team to a convincing victory this past week as the Wildcats defeated the Station Camp Bison. Meadors was responsible for 4 of the team’s touchdowns; including three rushing touchdowns, and one passing, in addition to his 159 yards through the air. This performance lifted the Wildcats over the Bison 45-7.
The Wildcats are now 3-0 on the season and have won each game by an average of 26 points. There is no definitive leader in 3-6A right now, but Blake Meadors and his team are making a convincing argument.
Wilson Central looks to extend their winning streak, this Friday, as they take on Siegel High school, a team that has been struggling so far this year.
