After just one season at RePublic, veteran coach Ron Lambert has resigned from the school and has accepted the defensive coordinator job at defending Division II-A Davidson Academy.

“This is a great opportunity for me and my family,” Lambert said. “I have known Coach Quinn awhile and I’m looking forward to working with his staff.”

The Trailblazers, a charter school in Nashville will be looking for their third head football coach going into their third season of varsity football.

RePublic barely missed the Class 1A playoffs last season under Lambert as they finished 5-5.
