Halls In the Market For Head Football Coach

After just one season as the head coach at Halls, Scott Blair has been relieved of his coaching duties at the small Class 2A school.

“I was told that they wanted to take the football program in a different direction,” Blair said.

The Tigers finished 2-8 in Blair’s only season and will enter the 2019 season on a four game losing streak.

Before taking the Halls job, Blair was the head coach at Fayette Ware for two seasons (2016-17).

While at Fayette Ware, Blair posted an 11-11 record and led the Wildcats to back to back playoff appearance making the 3A playoffs in 2016 and the 4A playoffs in 2017.

Before becoming the head coach at Fayette Ware, Blair coached at Memphis area schools Bolton, Memphis Central and Millington.

There are currently 17 programs looking for a head coach they are: Antioch, Cleveland, Collierville, East Hamilton, East Hickman, East Robertson, Greeneville, Halls, Hillcrest, Hillwood, Nashville Overton, Northeast, Northpoint Christian, Polk County, Tellico Plains, Trousdale County and Waverly
