Bryson Rosser Steps Down After Back to Back State Titles at Knox. Central

After winning back to back Class 5A state titles at Knoxville Central, Bryson Rosser has resigned after six seasons.

 

“Coach Rosser did resign as our head football coach today,” Knox. Central principal Andrew Brown said.

 

Rosser led the Bobcats to their second straight 5A state title last month as they defeated Summit 30-7.

 

In 2018, Central won the school’s first state title as they beat Henry County 14-9, in 2014, the Bobcats were the 4A runner up to Memphis East.

 

The Bobcats averaged 10 wins a season under Rosser as they posted a 60-22 record and made the playoffs all six seasons, five times in 5A (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019) once in 4A (2016)

 

Currently there are 17 schools  looking for a head coach they are: Carter, Cheatham County, Douglass, Fairley, Harding Academy, Hixson, Liberty, Loretto, Knox. Central, Marion County, Red Boiling Springs, Silverdale, Southwind, Station Camp, Westview, Whites Creek and York Institute
