Each week we will honor a player that exhibits character, teamwork and leadership both on and off the field with the US Army Player of the Week. Congrats to Week 9’s winner, Storm Livesay of Claiborne.
Storm finished the night with an absurd stat line:
16 Carries, 220 Yds, 3 TDs
20 Tackles (13 Solo), 5 For Loss
3 Sacks, 4 QB Hurries
1 Fumble Recovery, 1 Pass Breakup
When asked about his Senior leader, Bulldog Head Coach Nathan Medlin had this to say. “Storm does a great job for us on the field but he is an even better young man off the field. He has a 3.8 GPA while also volunteering his time with the youth athletics in our county. Storm is involved in our reading program with our Pre K school. He works very hard in everything he is involved in, and is a great role model for the young people in our community.”
He also exhibits the type of character, work ethic, and selflessness the US Army values and that is why Storm Livesay is our US Army Player of the Week for Week 9. Congrats to Storm Livesay and all of his Claiborne teammates.
