Two months after being let go as head football coach at Fayette Ware, Scott Blair has landed on his feet and has been named the new football coach at Halls.
He replaces Chris Parker who resigned last month after posting a 14-25 record in four seasons at Halls.
“We are very excited that Scott Blair will be leading our football program at Halls High School, Halls principal Suzanne Keefe said. Coach Blair comes to Halls High School with 17 years of football experience including 7 years of head coach experience and we feel that he instill the work ethic in our players that will result in a competitive team.”
While at Fayette Ware the last two years Blair posted an 11-11 record and led the Wildcats to back to back playoff appearance making the 3A playoffs in 2016 and the 4A playoffs this season.
“My time is over at Fayette Ware and it’s time to start a new chapter in my coaching career at Halls, Blair said. I enjoyed meeting with the search committee at Halls and they are very passionate about Halls and its family and I can’t wait to get started.”
Before becoming the head coach at Fayette Ware, Blair coached at Memphis area schools Bolton, Memphis Central and Millington.
